Arun Shanti Education Trust acquired 25.32 acres of land at Village Mogra Kallan, Tehsil Luni, Pali Road, Jodhpur on main National Highway. The land is located at a distance of 16 K. M. from Jodhpur Railway Station. It is proposed to be developed into a self-sufficient campus in all respects, an oasis of peace and tranquility, away from the noise and pollution of the urban conglomerate, totally devoted to promoting excellence in education by comprehensive ergonomic environment planning for buildings, roads, water supply/drainage, lawns, gardens and parks to ensure 100% space utility with cost effectiveness.
 

The land acquired for the project is on Jodhpur-Pali National Highway and at a distance of 16 K.M. from Jodhpur Railway Station. The location is close to well-developed Industrial Area. Many of the handicrafts exporting industries, KBPL Terminal of Indian oil, and some of the Government Institutions are in the vasinity of the location of the college. Recently RIICO has also planned to develop an export oriented industrial park for which equization of the land has already started. The location is well equipped with adequate infrastructure and is conducive to providing a better ambience to the project. The site is well connected with public transport facilities as it is on the main National Highway connecting Jodhpur and Pali.
 

The college is spread over an area of 25.32 acres out of which the constructed area is 40,000 sq.ft. in first phase with basic amenities. The open area with wide lawns provides a wonderful sight to whoever visits the college. The vastness of the campus indicates the possibilities of running other courses apart from B.E.
 

The college has magnificently designed buildings covering all requirements of its learners. There are for teaching purpose six lecture theaters well designed, two tutorial rooms for carrying out tutorial exercise in batches, two drawing halls for conducting Practical Geometry and Machine Drawing under Mechanical Engineering in I year, two computer labs with thirty computers all connected through LAN and with online 10 KVA UPS. Internet facility is available for students upto 7.30 pm. Apart from this there is well equipped Physics Lab with a dark room, Chemistry Lab with an analytical room and a Workshop to carry out experiments of Electrical and Electronics and Mechanical Engineering in I year.
A unique feature of JIET is school Broadcasting System or Central Announcement to keep different departments and sections of the college in constant touch with one another. Since the area of the college is quite huge so for any urgency and emergency the announcement system is used and it is regulated from one room where a person can make any announcement or deliver any message to the concerned ones.
The electricity supply in the campus is smooth and regular, there is also a standby power backup through 50 KVA DG set in case of power failure.
 

The institution provides board and lodging facilities both to boys and girls. The boys hostel with an intake of 25 students has an accommodation of double/triple seated rooms. The college has made provision of accommodation for girls in the heart of the city. All hostel rooms are well furnished with sufficient items necessary to live in. For to & fro movement of girls hostel inmates a chartered bus is available. At both the hostels a facility of well maintained mess is available to serve hygienic and healthy food to hostel inmates.
 

A healthy mind stays in healthy body is well proved at JIET where there are variety of games and sports available for students. Indoor games like Chess, Carrom, Table-Tennis and outdoor games like Cricket, Football, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Lawn Tennis and many more helps in keeping students fit for studies.
