The Director (Hony.) of the college has seen all facets of the engineering education and administration. Graduate in Electrical Engineering from M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur, the then University of Jodhpur, in 1963. He joined as lecturer in Electrical Engineering Department in the same college in 1963. He obtained his Ph.D. (Power Systems) from Czech Technical University, the then Czechoslovakia, in 1972 as Gov. of India scholar. Dr. Bhansali was promoted as Professor of Electrical Engg. In 1987 and worked as Prof. & Head, Dept. of Electrical Engineering during 1990-1993.
Prof. Bhansali has nearly 60 technical papers to his credit. Widely travelled, he visited many countries including USA, UK, Canada, China, France, Germany, Belgium, Hong Kong, Singapore. He was actively associated with world energy congress, UK and presented a status report on 'Non Conventional Energy Sources in India', at Montreal, Canada in 1989.
Dr. Bhansali is founder Honorary Secretary of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi). He was visiting Professor at University of Baghdad, Iraq from 1978-1981.
Prof. Bhansali was Director, Educational Media Research Center (EMRC) sponsored by UGC from 1996 - 2000. He is a member of many professional bodies and was nominated on many committees of UGC, ISTE, AICTE, Dept. of Science & Technology, etc. He was also President of Institute of Engineers (I), Jodhpur Local Center.
Prof. Bhansali was member of Senate, Syndicate and Academic Council of the University. He was president of Engineering Teachers Association (ETA) for six years
His fields of interests include Technical Education, Energy Management, Electrical Engineering and Entrepreneurship. He is currently the Chairman of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Rajasthan & Haryana section. He has also worked as Principal of Sobhasaria Engineering College at Sikar. As was born and brought up in Jodhpur he is well versed with local factors and is in a position to put the institution in front line.
